  most passengers simply flag down taxi anywhere they liked,esp CBD area!any TD dare to stop for them?some simply put out their hand when taxi very near,so we cannot stop in time!sometimes we r on call!where is this Mark Edward from?only Spore citizen allowed to drive taxi!

   To be eligible to apply for a Taxi Driver’s Vocational Licence (TDVL), you should:

  • ï°€  Be a Singapore Citizen holding a pink NRIC;

  • ï°€  Be at least 30 years old;

  • ï°€  Have held a valid Class 3 Singapore driving licence for a continuous period of at least one

    year at the point of application; and

  • ï°€  Be able to speak and read simple English.

  Dear Mr Mark Edward SIR ! .

  If you like to talk about your UK Taxi Service, First let us look at the £ or $.
  For  Hawkenbury car hire service, from Tunbridge Well Central to Luton Airport
   => 61 Miles or about 98 KM. 

  Their charge is £100 about S$200.
  For us (Singapore Taxi) for the same distance is ONLY about S$70 about Booking..
  For a LIMO also just about S$80 with Booking.
  Even a BLACK Car also less than S$100

  So please don't tell us your UK Taxi, Your are spending ££££££££.

  There's a lot of expat's forum talking bad about our taxi industries, go google around, is 2 ways traffic, that's why we are responsible to what we had address over here.

  Haha, Bro, nowsday, day driving seldom piang lo, except raining days..The power of 8 plus meter dame strong. Sometime we had to 'tolong' them to call limo leh..heehee

  8+ meter can be no show too, or late to show up. Knn, got one wait 5 minutes only, i fark fark, press no show,  zoom zoom out liao.

  During piang time, no time to wait, if paxs on call are not punctual or play a no show game, then they are also killing those waiting for cabs at the stands.

  yah man piang time if i reach there 2-3min u dun show up i juz press

  meter n go liao i dun hav time to wait for u............

  What I mean is ang mo now got another option rather than engage limo rate. Especially morning at Bukit Timah, 8 dollars booking actually save their ass.

  Last time 8 only seen by white, further more, we also bid selectively, now any blue, yellow, also 8...and cb CDG really solve their 'big' problem.

  yes thats a  intresting fact and it`s true that when you require a car to hire you doesn`t get a car because of the fare sturucture and drivers does not have any intrest to pick passengers.
