Co Driver in Cab!

Well not really. Yesterday I flagged a cab to go TTSH. To my surprise when she (a makcik) pulled up, she had her primary school son (in uniform) in the front seat!
I experienced this once before in the 90s, when another female Malay driver had her husband in the front seat as a kind of navigator ( real life one ok, not technology one, those GPS means street directory!). I also boarded that cab.
I know she was fetching her son, and it was no issue for me. Right or wrong, I don't care, as long as you send me where I wanna go (if you don't also never mind, find another cab).
But what surprised me more was that she picked me up along Sin Ming Road just meters from LTA! Supposing I LTA officer how? Why take such risks?
I never mention anything to her, but I hope she thinks about this and act accordingly. I hope our TDs in the forum, also consider this, if they ever think of doing it - just not worth it - nowadays Singaporeans like to Stomp for $50.

Hi bro
As I just finished my TDVL, still fresh from school. Is all right to have another passenger in the cab provided the next pax dosen't mind, is ok. Whereas for a children sitting infront, is not right unless is above 12yrs old. That's all I know. Hope there are more inputs.

I ever kena another case, one night I Q up in Bugis Taxi Stand.
I am 2nd Cab, in front of me an Ang Mo board the SMART San Pang and another PAX about to board my cab, suddenly the Ang Mo very mad rush out the SMART and hop on to my cab.
Me: Good Evening Sir, Where you going.
PAX: Arcadia Garden Please.Start moving
Me: why you so angry, the front driver don't want to send you to Arcadia Garden ?
PAX: No, What a 1/4Fish + 3/4dUCK, there are one Chinese woman sitting in front and chatting with the driver, and the old man asking me : Sir, do you mind, I bring my girl friend together, so I can show her around, she is from China and just come to Singapore less then two weeks

Some say give n take . I say ..... if vehicle got someone else , why bother to take another fare , cannot afford to let go meh ?

i not saying all cabbies are like that , i said to those who ever did that ..... must like that meh ? Me knn vehicle empty sometimes also see pax transparent liao , no need say pax got my family member or members .

What is illegal ?
Excluding driver , passengers exceeding 4 adults , that is illegal .
Illegal as in infringing Insurance Act .

Even if u despatching a drug syndicate , traffiking drugs , if syndicate got caught , as long as driver are not conspiring with syndicate , driver can never be charge for desptaching commuters .

so can i stop at Taxi Stand and shout "AMK ...AMK"
then collect double or triple fare
Even if u fetch ur friend, he or she is considered a paying pax
and must ON your meter
can I have 2 paying paxs in my taxi ?
If I need to baby sit my nephew, can I ask my nephew to follow me when I drive Taxi ?
I am sure is against the rule ...

1. can... as long as the first pax in your taxi agrees...
2. cannot... the onli fare u can collect is the one shown on the meter... how the paxs in your taxi divide.. is entirely up to them...
3. yes... by regulations... more so coz insurance does not cover non-paying passengers if kenan any accident...
4. yes... see point 1....
5. technically cannot...
