NUH New Main Building

today sent pax go nuh then found out , sekali no more taxi stand. ! no more taxi stand at old main lobby , instead it shifted to the new block 1 main building lobby next to kent ridge mrt station. good place to q . . . if nearby . cater to both mrt commuters and hospital commuters .

for those who dunno where ? its quite near to main road . . . new building beside current accident n emergency . no obvious sign board to indicate shifting of taxi stand. worst if u pick up pax , dun follow road arrow when going out , if follow arrow , u need to make a u turn using the old main lobby u turn at the back. u may chose to cut thru A & E , bypassing the lobby to short cut into main road exit .

no obvious signage to indicate shifting of taxi stand , must drive slow and see read properly.

dun follow road arrow , might lead you to make a big loop at the back to make a u turn.

just cut out making a right , but carefully . road arrow indicate left tun only.

if u wanna play safe , u left turn out , but make a left again to go into a u turn at A & E lobby . and make right turn into main road exit.

fuck up design . . . taxi stand come out , cannot right turn. A & E come out can make a right turn. If follow their rules , one big round at the back , using the back u turn of former main lobby , jam due to public carpark . sigh.

Yes, change liao few weeks ago. Now located near the new heart centre.
One of the worst hospital that I won't go to unless pax send me there. Even the Kent Ridge wing does not hv right turn.
When coming out of main building, usually I will turn left at the last circus, where ppl wait for shuttle bus, and exit via the Amin building side. In fact, it is the shorter way out.

NUS really confuses me nowadays. The signs point 1 way, and you go past find it's wrong. Or the there's only 1 sign to start and none to bring you further in.
Last week took 1 call go round, cannot find, press no show finally realise I past it, lucky Ang Moh waited and flagged me, many empty cabs around too, and he still waited.

SGH although near my house, never ever send pax there
Mt E sent paxs there a few times
knn got once send pax to Alexandra Hospital...this hospital go also can strike 4D

I working night shifts , LV customers rarely go to Public Hospital .
Will get to go Gleneagles , and Mt E or Raffles Hospital the most .
Once a while , got heard go KK Hospital , perhaps they came all the way to Singapore to cure women's problems .
Other than that , very rare i go NUH .

The very last time i street pick to NUH were midnight at Toh Guan Road late last year .
Heart attack case .
Pax face pale , like not enough oxygen . Sweating furiously . Lips pale white sia knn .
Holding his chest .
His son flag furiously for me .
I seldom beat red light and dashed 140km from Clementi Ave 6 to NUH .
Off my Aircon , open all windows , make a dash !
8 minutes i make it from Toh Guan to NUH , knn like a bit slow below my record .
I beaten the traffic light at Toh Tuck Ave and Boon Lay Way junction .
Can't beat Clementi Ave 6's .
Caused the delay .
After that , 140km/hr , if Traffic Police chase , let him chase !
I make sure he be my escort !
AYE's Speed Camera , i did slow down , cos i am turning in anyway, i need to slow down to 90km/hr .
Make a swift at South Buona Vista and another swift at Kent Ridge , another at the A & E .
I more kung chiong than his son .
Got down to those warden , shouted : " Heart attack heart attack ! Faster faster ."
Forgotten to press meter !
The son paid me $20 .

Just to add ....
In case of emergency , taxi can speed to save lives .
If TP stopped , make a quick one and just proceed , they will escort you all the way to hospital .
In genuine case .

Got once , a taxi driver was stuck in a jam , woman pax giving birth . . . cabby quick wit , dial Traffic Police to assist , TP arrived , to open up those roads , for cabby to make a dash to hospital .
Sounds bizarre but it's true story .

for day... coconut tree also can kenan pax go public hospital... tuas... etc...
yest kenan 2 pax go west coast car mart... took 30mins...
coz ang mo go rob bank... waited 15mins...
