If u guys got time to spare, try the second level of Amoy Street food centre - Lu Tian
Nice and cheap but need to wait - at least an hour.
the famous kuay chap at Toa Payoh Lor 8, braddell. Since they shifted to hawker centre, now close at 8, always miss it as 6 to 8 is peak hour to me.
The Blk 65 Bedok bak chor mee, I managed to tried them on the last day before they moved for renovation. Forgot to ask where they shifted too. anyone here know?
Really craving for superb teochew fish soup. Love the Han Kee at amoy st but they only open in the day. Piao Kee too.

Yes Jalan Mata Ayer used to be 24 hours until some residents complained, I think they have been forced to close by 10 pm but are appealing. They have some Malay stalls thats erve hot food, normally Nasi padang at night are all recycled but this 1 was good. Hope they still are open.
I seldom eat pork or chinese food, but the wanton mee at Syed Alwi x Jln Besar is very good. Also the Yong Tau Fu at the same location and some ppl like the chicken rice.
If before 1 am, a good place for Mee goreng is Beach Road Hawker centre (Deen Tiga Rasa) Go often, and he gives a discount, the advantage is that you remain in town. Another good Muslim food place is at Lor 1 Geylang.
1 discovered that this place, Best Hawa Rest along Onan Road. Like the Hawa restaurant they serve chicken rice, but they have all sorts of dishes and are not stingy with ingredients, price a bit more around $4.50 but there cooks are Thai/Kelantanese so it tastes nice.
Bedok Hawker centre has 1 halal stall selling Char Kway teow, carrot cake Or luak, so far the best 1 around, tastes exactly like the original Chinese 1 minus the lard. But must go before 9pm. Also don't forget to try Andrew's Cheng Teng.
West Coast Hawker centre has some good stall as does the one at Bedok North St 2.
Opposite the famous scissors rice at Jalan Besar is a stall selling Chinese Mutton Soup, previously from Farrer Park.
For Roti prata and nasi Briyani around Sengkang area, go to Thasevi at Jalan Kayu. It's the original but expensive ($7 briyani). They use fresh meat not frozen, that's why the price.
For authentic Indian curry, go to Barakath at Hastings Road, but they close around 9 plus. Every saturday they sell salted fish curry with beans, sells out pretty fast. A bit more expensive their standard rice meal $5-6, but worth it.
Serangoon Gardens Hawker Centre has a lot of good stalls too, the Prawn mee and Wanton mee isn't bad. They also got fish soup.
Finally, you can't go wrong witht he Old Airport Hawker Centre, a lot of stalls, my favourite western food stall is there - London Grill, he's been around nearly 20 years, so that's a testament to his quality, I suppose.
