Urgent..very sian now!:-( :-(.Just drive for 1 week!my hirer want me pay part season parking+rent fee $52 n pump diesel price count by $1.15(I accept it)...Problem slowly cum...(1)third day i cover him for morning shift 6am-6 pm n pay extra $25(macket pratice also)!but when at that day morning about 6 plus i went for morning a/booking,hirer call me: u already drive away the cab,he nid to sent his son go camp....i heart feel abit uncomfortable!...(2)after that he tell me to miss call him everyday when return cab(so can sent son to camp)(first day i already suggest ,he say very troublemsome)is ok for me,BUT when i ask him do the same....he say dun nid..(look like he just want to TAKE n dun GIVE)...(3) my frz teach me press 1/2 n delet history..dun let hirer see $ i earn if not he will try ask something from u (i dun understand/believe what all for)..now i know liao!...hirer just call n say cab eat lot diesel,must increase diesel to $1.19...( i m that type step accelerator bit by bit)........Very sian hirer 1 day 1 pattern cum out!inside cab got many different price pump diesel card...look like he super calculative type people!...what m i going to do?throw key...jsut 1 week throw key...sibei pasey!

Whether you drive 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year, makes no difference.
When your next shift start, go to the cab, take all your barang barang out, put the key inside, whereever you think is best, ignition, dashboard, sideboard etc, open your driver's door, lock all doors, hold your driver's door and close it, the doors will be locked.
Then later on, be it 1, 2 , 3 hours or before the end of your shift, sms him and tell you returned the key. End of story. No need to entertain his reply or calls.
You drive CDG got many hirer. You are relief, you get no benefit, so the next hirer, make sure, you talk terms clearly witht he next one. Don't agree, find another, simple?

Ok for hirer to ask share season parking but must all be full agreed at the start but have way "chut pattern". My last hirer did not buy season parking and if I come back earlier, I would have to put coupon until his time. So all for everybody's convenience la. For me, I did not ask my relief to share.
$1.19 is expensive? I am collecting $1.20, it's my relief who suggested that amount. He even said $1.30 but I said $1.12 enough.
U know what I heard from another relief when I took his cab? He said he rather pay his hirer $1.50 even, if he want. Let him go and smell and touch the diesel everyday and die faster. So dun think hirer makes money out of u leh.
As for timing, I have strict rules in this and it applies to me as well. I must show good example myself if I want my relief to follow. so always handover on time and any pattern, no matter what, cannot be tolerated.
In your case, better start looking for another hirer la.

CDG don't care about arrangements between hirer and relief. Hirer is responsible. If hirer is fucked up, no need for further discussion, on the spot, return.
There is no contract between a hirer and relief, he can stop you at any time, likewise yourself can stop.
My relief still says I treat him so nice.

Alvin, if you want to be a relief that's fair, both to you and your hirer (don't care what he wants or thinks, fair is fair, everyone can see), then my advise is:
1) Discuss rent. Should be at $50, unless brand new cab, the older it gets, the lesser the rent becomes. But $50 is a fair price for Sonata.
2) Diesel - Always a problem. Newer vehicles consume less, older more. Day driving consumption should be more because of more start, stops, jam. Queueing also affects consumption. Agressive driving also has an effect. You should know your own pattern and later on your hirer's. My weekend hirer charge me, 1.11 for his new cab, but I offer 1.13 but he does washing. But of course, i will do basic wiping also. You can consider this.
3) Washing - 1 party should do and it should be shared. But you can make some arrangements like I did for the Sonata. For my weekday Azera, we split the washing, and pump individually - 1st click plus 1-2 dollars more.
4) Parking - if he stays far away, and you need to collect vehicle or take a cab there, parking is entirely his.
5) Off days - $25 is quite normal, but can easily be countered by replacing days.
6) Lateness- If not more than 30 mins, give advance notice, sms 2-3 hours earlier, so the other party can either accept or reject. Best is to return on time, but depends on circumstances.
7) Quitting - No need for advance if the issue is caused by 1 party breaching the agreement, but if caused by external factors, like you got another job etc, then courtesy dictates anywhere from 2 -7 days notice.
