But my neighbour a TD for more then 30 years staying landed. If you start in the 80s can lah. Provided you dun indulge in vices. Last time in 80s rental + fuel only $50++ a day but collection is $200 a day if hardworking. Cos last time not much taxi on the road. Every where png. No such things as empty cab to town or queueing at AP etc...Even sit at coffeeshop also got people jio you 去�去....

To my understanding, you like to show off a lot, since you can disclosed so many trade secret on taxi drivers, why public cannot ask how taxi drivers can stay in private properties?
Is just like after telling people how good my earning are, than when IRAS question you, you started to deny.
I rarely post here, because you feel there's a few different tiers among all forummers.
But usually, I will know how to,

That's where I think you're mistaken. Mr Poolman does divulge certain things, but they are what I would consider useful information and guide for other drivers and even passengers.
They may be personal experiences, but I won't consider them trade secrets. He's far too wise to fall into that trap. What may appear as them, are already common knowledge. They are others, many too, that has not been divulged, and whatever he's said or done, he's never made the mistake of poking into other people's private matters or revealing them.
Anyway just because a TD stays or owns a private home, doesn't mean he has to worry about IRAS. Even CPIB does not investigate people from supposedly lower paying jobs who own private property. They only do so when an allegation of criminal activity that resulted in that purchase is made. IRAS also doesn't do so, unless evidence is presented to show an improper income declaration was made in regards to taxable income.

FYI, Mr Poolman also wondering his soul at cyberspace. He is the one that create today situation, 2 different forums for 2 tiers of taxi drivers. Mr Poolman know what his own agenda, If he really feel uncomfortable on certain topic, jolly well lock the thread, he is the owner, he got every right, why bother to defend himself if he himself know what's my implication. Thank you for even bother to reply me cause usually I treat every feedback very seriously just like what you do, we are both ex government server.
