  When you reached 75, do you think you have the energy to cope with the punishing high daily rental and fuel rate of your cab? Do you think you can work 12 hours per day to earn little profit for your daily meal? I urge our government to consider waiving GST for daily rental and fuel and to scrap the fuel tax for senior citizen.

  I meet some senior citizen and asked them why they driver taxi. Most told me driving taxi to past time and I do not believe what they said. Few of them told me, their children cannot afford to support them because their job is taken away by foreigners and now they have to drive taxi to support themselve. I doubt they can past their time holding a taxi steering wheel when reached 75 or earlier if daily rental rate and fuel up by 35%. It is time for our government to look into these group of vulnerable elderly taxi driver.
