Would U travel 40km to pick up your pax?

  That's what I did.

  Until now, now chance to do any Tuas business, send there no chance, pick out from there even zero as I dun have a chance to go there.

  Last night hands itchy press one advanced job from Tuas Crescent to AMK.

  I know Tuas is far, but dunno it's really that far. Start shift in Bt Panjang with meter reset tp "0". My GPS state I will reach there 15 mins ahead of schedule and when I reach there, wah lao, 40.7km.

  That trip really broke some personal record:

  1st time ever travel so far to fetch a pax (I dun mind, cos learning experience)

  1st time spent 90 mins with a single pax, wah lao, traffice jam all the way.

  1st time pax got to ask for toilet break.

  My reward : $60.40, is it worth it? Btw the trip back, with all the jams is only 32.7km.

  BJ,

  All goes by your per hour earning within the fuel usage. If you spent one hour, get a good fares with a low fuel consumption, sure worthy, but if you spent one hour or more than that and still cannot meet your per hour target and yet high fuel consumption, I think grandma also said you lose out.

  How much you earn per hour depend on individual, some earn like this very happy already, some must earn high high then happy, like those chiong cabs on the road, like mad cow like this, must win one, cannot lose, then touch wood, BANG!! on the road, regretted.

  Money is everywhere in Singapore, no matter how you dig, cannot dig finish, leave some for tomorrow, where you got more energy to dig and dig. Then when got money, bowah will go dig other holes at nite.

  xiao si bo?? for experiment, ok lah.. if practically, no way man.. me only take call if can reach within 2 mins, other than that, no way... today took 1 call, 5 secs reach liao.. wait there dan see Cash lee coming out from his cab smoking... hee

  The funny thing is after my 40km trip, last night and the night before - same number of trips and almost same amount, but less km clocked on the meter.

  It's triggered off by the other day which I happens to be at Boon Lay way and got a job for Jurong Island to Marine Parade. Never done that before and since only 90 mins away, just tried lor.

  Meet another colleage there who also got a call but going to Hougang. We chatted and exchange number.

  Later he sms me telling me his trip cost 53 buck while mine only 40, got me interested in longer trip lor.

  Now eyeing Tuas Ave West to Airport jobs(midnight). heeheehee

  tuas crescent is only mid way in tuas, i think you went in there from tuas west is it?

  I think Bukit panjang no need so far la. I do delivery from tuas PIE to KJE very fast wor. Less than 15mins. Maybe I'm wrong....

  Bt panjang 2 tuas is 40.7km, tuas 2 amk is 32.7km, so amk is nearer then bt panjang, sori 2 said that, after driving so many yr taxi, nw then i found out amk is much nearer 2 tuas then bt panjang, lucky te pax never go bt panjang or with te jam , i think going 2 cost him $90++, then wan bao new will come out again.

  It's my common practise to start work from CCK , straight away towards Tuas .

  So it's ridiculous to think of what 40km , crazy .
