Hospitalisation

  My hirer ended up being warded in hospital. And CDG kindly agreed to waive 1/2 rental for a period of 2 weeks, unless of course the cab is driven more than 12 hours each day.

  Do other companies offer this? Despite my many grumblings at them, at least over the past 6 weeks CDG has given me cause to praise them  for a) paying a fare that wasn't paid by pax b) offer payment for vomitting ($20) although I haven't claimed this and now this compensation for the hirer.

  But before I super praise them, knn they also got call me and ask me to help my hirer by depositing my share of the rent in his account for deduction. ( I wanted to scold them, wtf has payment of rent got to do with me? I'm not the hirer! But for his sake, I just lan lan say ok).

  Anyway my hirer at least now know he not superman, for nothing he stopped the other relief because the guy only wants to drive Sat/Sun not Fri to Sun. He try for 2 weeks, now masuk hospital liao, and has agreed to the offer of sat/sun from the other relief.

  For newbies who think OMO very good, this is a lesson, TD looks easy, OMO can be done, for sure, but please be wary of the detriment of your health. Sitting down long hours in aircon filled with germs eventually will wear you down.

  What a coincident ! My friend from Teck Whye , just learnt that he fell and fractured his arm . Doctor gave him 1 month "Unfit for Duty" Medical Leaves . Citycab give him half rental free ! His relief pay his own share . Meaning daily rental $53 . Max 14 days , it's true . But my friend still lose $53 for the next 14 days , cos arm still on plaster , how to drive ?

  Think this policy just recently implemented . Two years back , one of my CNG colleague kena stroke when he was OMO for Citycab . Doctor gave him 2 months MC , from the day he MC , he asked CityCab to take back his cab , Citycab say 2 months later resign !! KNN He later found someone to relief for him for 14 days , lose $20 a day for nothing , cos Citycab dun accept his immediate resignation . Must be 14 days . Citycab never entertain immediately resignation under any circumstances . Very stiff and inflexible .

  Agree with JR , OMO fun ? So many of my colleague , if not kena stroke , heart disease or else high blood pressure , diabetes . KNN scary sia . Some really died , can ask Jade . Or recently i posted one died at Nex remember ? And that Mercedes cabby ? OMO take care lah pls . We dun have any spare cash for White Gold $$$ , hahahahah
