Ex-bell captain of luxury hotel fined for graft

A former employee of a luxury hotel was fined on Friday and ordered to pay a penalty for taking bribes in the form of loans from a taxi driver. In return, he assigned hotel guests to the driver's taxi. Narayanasamy P. Annamalai, 46, a former bell captain with The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, was fined $20,000. He was also ordered to pay a penalty of $13,100, this being the amount he took in the 11 charges of corruption. He had pleaded guilty to getting loans of between $300 and $2,000 from cabby Yip Kiam Bin in 2006 and 2008. As he did not pay the fine and penalty, he will serve a 33-week jail term in default. Another two former bell captains of the hotel were dealt with in August 2011.

This type are not bell, but gong captain.
No wonder last time I go fullerton, they alway ask me to get lost even got pax there waiting with baggages. See already also know kelong one. Must be some of their ex colleage not getting the share, then expose them.

These type of cases very hard to catch, what i am thinking is yep, here we have 1 case genna exposed, but out of 1 case, how many, like 200-1000 cases not exposed and still operating?

Hotel......must go through concierge......draft proper contract.....than your backside safe.... Bell boy duty is to open door and carry lugguage, bell captain just one step higher, nothing else..... Fullerton is one of the many hotel that TD securing their business in wrong way...... Fullerton case, the bell boy, bell captain and the TU all deserve it, for me don't follow procedure means no protection, no protection mean go and fly kite don't bother me.....
