Shy TD switch off MTD

  After travelling for about 10 min on the taxi,I asked how come the mtd had no display(there was display when I boarded) He replied that he SWITCHED IT OFF saying that the law does not say it must be on. Is he right ?

  Taxi belong to who? you or the TU? if for me, I will say, MDT spoilt

  Why must typed in CAPITAL LETTERs when you can type in small caps ?  Furthermore your Thread Starter's Post is already confusing and misleading.

  There is no rules abt that because Mdt off or on does not affect the meter in anyway. Main purpose of mdt is a replacement for the walkie talkie used for radio calls (bookings) in the past.
