Just recently, one indian driver get booted from cdg because of refusing to take pax into Jurong island, pax complained, he gets booted, no mercy.
Now cdg got a long waiting list, they can even talk without even look at you, knn.

Good kar, normally CDG will still invite u for coffee, if u owe rental type, than don't need to say, sure bye bye.... CDG rules, rental already collected one day late, Today deduction is for yesterday rental, cashless credit the next days, so no reason TD don't except, unless u want to hiong rental....Fri,Sat,Sun only deduct on next Mon, so over weekend, don't except cashless, than Mon come, How? Only agreed relief driver maybe will reject here and there cause they pay hirer direct with cash.... So sometime if u pick somethings on company, must be valid, or else we just a laughing stone to them..... -

This TD should be booted from CDG. It is just too bad he interviewed the wrong pax. For me, if stuck in Jurong, I rather wait for calls with destination or go down town empty. If no choice must interview, I will just tell pax "Clementi Sir ?" before they even open their mouth.
That is my interview method. It is the safest. Wind down window and shout CLEMENTI ??

for me, from jurong east to lakeside mrt is 100% no no in the morning. Btw, morning i prefer to sleep, 25% surcharge not enough to wake me up.

Aiya, brother paxonboard, seng li jo tua also must have enuf energy and time, some I see got so many gadget, from GPS to galaxy to walkies to bluetooth to iphones, knn, TD only mah, you think stockbrokers ah??
, then alway see them idle at kopitiam or go see PRC aunties, I just drive, sweep, got current or advance call gum me, just take, what is there to do with so many IT gadgets, make oneself more busy for nothing.Philosophy of driving is simple, if do not want to take fare, dun stop lah, just put busy and drive on, want to pick and choose, then most probably you are looking for trouble, especially with Cdg, even I ah beng flip flop type also must wear shoe now.
Cashless must accept, if not give you the terminal for what??? then after shift, go UOB Q up lor, if not how to give wife market money, knn. As usual, many cabs in the morning near UOB Atm hoping to cash out some money, if kenna delay, then eat grass lor.

there was once I got a 31.95, around me to make it 40 and pay by credit card.
I got stunned for a moment, dunno how to do and end up, haha, not doing anything, all these while pax was behind collecting luggage. When he say the receipt, he ask me why I did not round up and I smile and say it's ok. Inside my heart, very pain.
Actually, i not really expect tips la.
If every customer can pay me cashless I happy liao. Why cashless? cos otherwise, I always ended up giving them tips instead, (rounding up). at least with cashless, I get 100% of what I deserved.
Dunno why ppl dun like cashless. was told by a friend of mine that he took cab but dun have much money with him, so he told TD he is paying by NETS. Guess what? He told from from start of trip to end, the TD just keep on scolding him none stop. Saying things like no more dun take taxis and all that jest.
Why don't reprogram meter using fix fare then can get the tip lor.
Hirers love cashless but not relief. for me as hirer the more cashless mean no need go the crap atm do deposit!

For me, super relief, if all pax go cashless, no money to pay hirer in cash, hand over time, tell hirer all cashless, can only pay him a few days later, hirers face turn black..

Taxi kiosk cannot join line, so join all groups, pocket sure burn one big hole.....but o, imagine 4 talkies in your taxi, plus radio, waw lau, sure steam..... Recently decal is a in things, especially MERC, our grouping can join line, (except 1 stupid group) so 1 talkie can join 5 groups and drivers tend to join as many groups as possible.... Like me Royal Flush, 5 groups and my front & back screen full of decals, too bad not country club membership or else suk ki..... Why so many groups, all want to be Indian chief ma, beh kum, set up your own group lo...not like taxi kiosk, govern by LTA, cannot si sua lai..... Overall, just fun of it, like what I say before, talkie group all drama one, actual business all done under the MRT track, so for MERC drivers, don't get too serious in group talk, had your own kakis, trusted one, than your TD life will be very enjoyable....

Imagine this scenario,at midnight current pax reached destination.Another pax by the roadside waiting to get on board,current pax cashless transaction pending for approval after a few swipes.The process delayed and took about 3-5 mins and to no avail.Another taxi appear @ the scene,the roadside pax get into this cab.

pax reach destination... want pay by nets... but terminal faulty... cannot perform the transcation...
pax ask TD drive to ATM near home withdraw cash... but ATM spoil... so ask TD drive to MRT station withdraw money... den drive back to his home again...
after wiithdraw money... get back taxi... saw meter continue jumping... pax not happy...
original reach home $15... den after turn here turn there coz of the ATM thing... taxi fare become $18...
pax tu-lan liao... TD say not happy complain... pax call CDG to complain... while on the phone... TD jio pax to fight...
den TD slap pax face... say no money dun tae cab...
