I was task to do something on this forum . Frankly speaking, was a followers for the pass one year..... Most topics is within my toleration somehow . We TD where got so much time to do forums, once a while post nonsense than disappear....... is the overall public eyes on it, bear in mind on that...... You don't want this forums to become STB(Singapore Tourist Board) links for all taxi query, or somebody spouse or family members to know other hidden activities by TD...... Forum in short, simple topic, simply reply, and full stop, where most forumers in taxi driver been doing fine, except some, maybe you are newbie to taxi industries, you won't know the social impact to other people life....... Why I bring up LV, cause most of you guys know each other in real life, so when posting, you guys forgot that you are not in coffee shop talk.... you guys did meet up and sound interesting....... stay positive and for the rest keep posting on relevant topics and debate accordingly and sensitively.....

Your dislike might be someone liking. Of course it will be best if we can share the same liking (not girl hor), but how many time can all the best happen.
You can come in to share your point of view, why took up task to stir and fried? You are still far from using such method to change, or are you position yourself higher and smarter cos you belong to old limo driver?
Whatever those kopi kakis unhappy about this forum, invite them to come in and share their view. Why do we need to care for those who doesn't exist here?
Over here, the mod got the final say, you just need to convince him and we will follow, that simple lor.

Not too long ago, I was the one who post asking for info as a new limo driver.
As a brand new driver, I really had to start from zero and any info that ppl care to reveal, good or bad, really help in one way or another.
Then I was bombarded for the same reason.
Later then I understand. What is useful to me now, like the tools of the trade, places to look for business will eventually be trade info which if reveal here for others, would certainly devalue such information.
As a experience limo driver-to-be or maybe a top 10% earner like Bro Komade, I too dun want my trade tools and secret to be exposed online too-eventually.
What some people in here take years to learn and if I can learn it the easy way and just post so words online and expect ppl to flood this forum with information while just sitting down in my arm chair, expecting such durians to happen, such info would end up "useless" based on the fact " a secret too many ppl know is no longer a secret"
I being new is rather short sighted in this aspect while Poolman, with his many years of experience certainly see the repercussion far beyond this.
As such, I do agree and support his move in this matter. Although efforts are wasted, post counts lost, people are upset but the damage to be lost and whatever gain certainly outweight all these losses in the long term.
Especially if we meet over enthusiatic people is POB, who remind me of that Wikileak guy who's primary mission is reveal, reveal and just reveal without taking the consequences into consideration, we TD ourselves and the Big Brother of this forum, Poolman, has to act fast to protect our own interest before more damages is done.

Want to know why people protect their turf(rice bowl) like vulture?
I learnt it the hard way.
I used to run a food business. At the peak, I got a factory and 3 outlets and supply to hotels and restaurants too.
I was even selected for the Singapore Day, where the government gathers the very best of hawkers food to a certain destination of the year selected, to let Singapore living overseas, working, studying or migrated there. To let them have a taste of local food, to entice them to return home.
Just imagine, the very best of local food. I am rubbing shoulders with the best kuay chap, best laksa, best chilli crab, best fried kuay teow.
This is the highest form of recognition in my eight years career but also leads to my downfall.
While I am there for 10 days, I assign the daily work to a China worker whom I trusted and taught him all my secret recipes.
As this China worker is going home after I return from my trip, I wouldn't mind him using these skills to earn a living in this home town.
Only when I came back and he went home did I found out that while I am away, this guys sold the recipes I taught him to my very own customer, my major customer.
Just for $800, I lost a 5 figure revenue every month and cannot find another one to replace this, drag on for 6 months and incurring more debts and eventually forced to cut lost when the landlord of my factory locked up the premise for non payment for rent for just one month.
Have been down for a good 3 years and had real difficulties trying to come up again until this TD job.
I used to be very generous in this sharing aspect as I always feel like I want to be the same as Macdonalds, you can copy for all you want, I will always create new and better ones - as long as I am around. I learnt my lesson the hard way.

Since when I unhappy with you guys? One year of reading, than decided to get myself register and talk nonsense to you guys?????? Do not underestimate anyone in life. In forum, anythings is target board, I never quote you guys I'm the old limo driver, I present myself with 6 years of driving a MERC cab....through cyberspace, one can tell a person is smarter????? Whether the kopi kakis decided to post here or other wise is 2 different things, I just do somethings which you guys been doing as far as I had read the thread before for the past year, the reaction is strong cause from nowhere POB appear, you guys been confine to your own world for so long and forgot about the fundamental of forums posting....Anyway, easily I can change POB to other user name...but lazy la, my wife been pestering me, why spent so much time on posting, why can't just read like before, itchy hand is the cause.....
