Driving experience with CDG

  5 years with comfort, i received 3 letters. 2 warning and 1 commendation.

  1st warning letter due to 2 accidents within a month. 1st accident happened at marine dr/behind ntuc supermarket. i was making a three point turn. After the first turn, the car parked opposite out of sudden reversed  and hit my bumper. I paid 2k as comfort said i have no witness.2nd accident happened at the junction of beach rd/kg java. This time no penalty as TP investigation report stated that malaysian coach had caused the accident.

  2nd warning letter was awarded as i was caught wearing collar T-shirt at T1. Frankly speaking, i do not have any comfort shirt. I dun like wearing their logo around.

  3rd letter commended me helping pax to load up stuffs at IKEA/alexandra. $10 dollar diesel voucher given.

  Happen to take one lawyer at subordinate court, he told me he handled comfort accident cases and most of them either lost or 50-50. This shows that comfort dun really help driver to win accident cases. Please drives with care.

   

  Lastly.i have to thank POOLMAN for creating this forum as i do benefit from the information he provided. But, pls do not throw so many dummy grenade.

  BTW,

  I got countless of commendation letters... for returning mobiles, cameras, wallets, accepting cashless payment even system not working, carry umbrella for pax upon alighting (raining), etc... at least 20 merit letters from pax... with Cumfuck.

  But also kena 3 warning letters for speeding... also kena-ed kicked... .

  So, this teaches us... NOT TO BE A GOOD TD... NO USE one.

  One day course ?  Not over the weekends ? ( Saturday + Sunday + 1 weekday ).

  About to go for my 2nd refreshment course liao, probably next year... (still need my TDVL even though me driving Pte-Limo).

  my course fall on saturday. from 9am-1.15pm n 2pm-8.30pm.

  they also provide 2 day or 3 night courses

  I see... now that they have changed the course to 1 full day rather than 3 day (half day) course.

  I always remind myself to be a good TD .  I am a devoted buddhist. I believed 善有善报，如有未报，å�ªæ˜¯æ—¶è¾°æœªåˆ°. Just like ah koon, i sometimes don't collect any fares from those handicapped pax. Doing good is for our own cultivation and not for other to see.

  With good heart, u will have less fire and thus enable u to drive peacefully.

  It really applies everywhere. We can do many good deeds but one very bad mistake will wipe us clean and destroy us.

  Its a reflection of life and the cycle of birth and death. Our parents took great efforts to fall in love, get married, get pregnant, and feed us to adulthood. But Mr Death can come anytime and take life away. Erase everything with just one swing of his big sickle.

  Totally agree with weehu. Doing good is because you want to do it (and benefit others). If I expect something good to return to me, then the "Doing good" is not very good. I also Buddhist.

  i also got quiet a few toilet paper(commendation) well driving for them so what.

  complain come only listen to pax not us, to them mostly pax are right?

  never use their brain why we get commendation also, so to me all those are already in the loilet as toilet paper liao

  This commendation thing is quite useless, it does not translate financially into a better life. Five commendation letters does not mean you earn $100 more per month.

  One complain letter (big one) will mean your rice bowl pecah. That is a serious financial catastrophe.

  So,.. at end of day, just do what your heart wants to do, but don't hurt others, that's all.

  Every time they send that stupid Cabby magazine , automatically throw into the bin, the one interesting article is the contest nia but ccb everytime submit beh tio.

  I never drive for as long as u, but i always wondered if those commendation letters kelong one. Its so easy to get friends or relatives to write in with a nice story. And the cabby just attach a kelong trip receipt to make it look real.

  One thing CDG is good .... i dunno now .

  Rules i dunno changed already .

  During my time , accident access .

  You hit people , only front damaged , yours okay , $1000 access . $2000 if yours required to repair .

  $1000 if u chose to repair outside .

  Front is front prices , back is back prices , different .

  TransCab different , TransCab , even if your vehicle is not damaged , still u need to pay $2140 .

  That's the different between TransCab and CDG .

  Now i dunno CDG got change rules .
