Hi Bro JoeRaj, your advise is invaluable. Thanks. And I am not young. But my Persistence and Determination is stronger than the Young Ones, I think.
I belongs to the old school, prefers Manual. But if I need to drive more than 10 hrs a day, dunno whether will change my thinking about Manual. Maybe I should look at it as practicing my "No Shadow Left Leg Side Kick" (Just trying to be positive about an unfavorable situation)

At least u can still change to auto if u can't take it
To be practical, since you are so wannabe and anxious to drive OMO, it is ok to drive first, talk later. Then perhap after a few weeks or months, you can then come back here and tell us how is it, by that time, we hope you are still driving a OMO crown.

this is what i used to see, no hard feeling for any taxi company
crown
1. seem like break down are more often seen from other company compare to CDG crown
2. super hot weather , the air-con are not so strong for crown - you tend to fall sick easily
3. diesel compsumtion - high
4. competition against other model - your passenger will be hijack more often by other models
5. benefit... i think only cdg maybe better than smrt
last still the same, good luck which ever you choose

right
special request, no crown, some don't like the jerking
run at 100km per hr, engine hor hor hor hor,
Actually I like to drive the Wish, but with so much uncertatinty about CNG, I am afraid everyday instead of thinking of profits, I can only think of Break-even. Especially since I am new, not yet know where the durians grow.

1 more point- Pax tends to avoid crown when there is a choice for them to choose either from the street or booking.
Yes, I believe you. Today I saw one Aunty and daughter waiting at side of road. Crown slow down but Aunty pretend look away. Then behind got one yellow Sonata, do the same as the Clown, and got the Pax.
This happen because got 2 cabs coming together. If no choice, Pax will take anything that comes.
the way i see wish
use petrol all the way still can make some decent income.
whether wish suit you or not, maybe you should give more info like where you putting up
maybe bro poolman can be in better position to advise you
he has given lots of tds advise which i think they all benefit from it and able to drive smoothly on the road.
base on the latest news and benefit, i see wish a much lower cost compare to crown ( you drive 1 shift and get a relief)
base on what you compare cdg and smrt........ if you take wish and have a relief, i think you cost is at least $20 less than smrt (with relief) only not sure if wish need to sign contract or not
slowly, still got lot of time to think before you complete your course
i am sure more lau jiao will come to give more advise

Bro bowah, very encouraging. Thanks.
I hope I can overcome the hazards of OMO and be successful in it.
There are benefits in OMO that draws me to this dangerous option.
1. Complete flexibity in driving schedule.
2. No need to fill up at end of shift. Fill up whenever (tank less than quarter) near a cheapo Fuel Depot.
3. No Argument about who cause the dent on the Taxi.
4. No Argument about cleaniless of inside and outside.
5. No unhappiness about Driving skill or method that causes engine performance to drop.
6. No Argument on late hand-over
7. Tired? No need to return Taxi. Go home and sleep.
Like I say, dangerous option. But if no try, no know.

6. Crown meter start $3.00

If one day fetch 25 pax, crown is $10 less collection per day...

My daily routine is the moment i start my engine , i am thinking of closing shop liao.
So far noone can beat me when it comes to closing shop.
30 mins flat - head to CNG , pump CNG , wash windows and interior and head home.
not only less $10
crown speed slow, let say wish 1 mid range trip complete 20min, crown will take 25min
10trip mean loss 50min maybe = 2 short trip loss est $10-$12
so $10+$10 = $20 loss
normally 10hr driving is about 25-30 trip(for day shift)
