Cannot do this , cannot do that , cannot go here cannot go there , got people cannot take , take must interview ..... end day , come back SQ-1 , same salary , waste time .

If advance so good , u think cdg so good will give you $8 , previously $5.20 ?
if cdg can give free advance bookings to customers , they would do it , if got cabbies want to do it .

Why dun you try taking one advance booking at 10.30pm , for a 6am Advance to Airport ?

My advance is usually 30minutes to 45 minutes, then I take, sometime, dunno why some cdg advance is only 20minutes, see road gam only, finger press very fast.
When I take the advance, I also make sure I do my break time during the waiting period. My style is when driving taxis, eat and release whenever there is an opportunity, if want to meet up with buddies, after the shift, hand over the taxi, can chit chat freely with them at kopitiam with beer aunties.

Totally agreed. Advance booking dun increase you earnings at the end of the day.

This is the right way to drive taxi. Some day shift TD brothers here likes to meet up at zion rd after peak period. that area is full of empty cabs after 9am. after break, most likely they will cruise until tulan. OBK is created due to their management of time.

Thank you weehu, mine is singapore aunties lah, 妹妹.to me like my daughters, not interested, but for me, I know my limit, just past time only, good or bad timse also drink abit, gamble soccer abit to make life more interesting, afterall, people like me cannot make much in the society, might as well ENJOY abit, then go home watch TV, eat and sleep. As Taxi driver, we need to pamper ourselves, dun just drive and drive with no life. But of course not pamper into those extreme activities like those crazy midnite paxs.
Yes, you are right, many of these girls got bungalow house in JB, but in JB, cars and houses are cheap, much much cheaper than here. But their openness and ability to gel with people of all ages is really commendable, unlike our singapore 妹妹, all look up only.
Got once, a singapore girl I picked up, reached her hillview house, she passed me $15, when my hand reach to take it, she retracted abit so as not to touch my fingers, I find this very offensive, as a young singaporean girl of educated class, you act proud and never want to even touch a TD fingers...hahaha, so pathetic...so when I returned a dollar, I also just drop into her hand, never want to touch it too. This show a total class differentiation our govt created

coz its thrown out by the orginal taker... unable to do due to stuck in jam.. haven finish previous job.. etc...

transcab mdt can choose to receive either "current" onli... "advanced" onli... or both...

yeap... zion rd after morning peak is good place to break for strategic reasons...
after break... want go town... go north.. go west... all within 10 to 20 mins...
after break at 10plus... within 10 to 15 mins sure can get pax from tat area...

Taking call, be it current or advance is up to you, just like Q, want to Q, no regret, want to take call, dun care who throw, there are many different strategies each TD take to ply his trade, just like Bro pool said it correctly with a picture, the hand, all fingers are different, not to mention the thumb print.If everyone use the take call strategy, who will do the sweep, vice versa, if all sweep, who go take the calls? Singapore got lots of eating places to eat and shit, or even take a nap/rest, if that advance with a destination suit you at 2pm while you are at 11 am, but your lunch is said to be at 12pm, drag it abit longer till 1pm, then go find a cosy place to eat, drink some kopi, and at the same time read the map of how to get to the caller destination, if it is AP, then see if at 3pm, which Terminal got good landing so that you can get a good connection and so on.
