penalty imposed by CDG on replacement of semi worn tyre

  Today, my tyre puncture n i sent to tyre shop for patching. i was told by the tyreman that the puncture was at the side of the tyre, he advised me to go back to cdg as it is unsafe to patch.

  at cdg, tyreman examined the tyre n told me i have to pay for replacement as the tyre is not due to wear n tear. he used a measurement guage to measure the remaining thread thickness and it showed 5mm.

  5mm worth $50 plus gst.

  also see a wish driver using $20 to buy a second hand tyre at he tyre shop. he use it as spare tyre.

  How to determine Trans standard tyre? Then use so many brand. Original Wish one best. Michelin. Then they change mine to Falken. Pool one is using some ulu brand call Westlake. Lol

  My brand new Sonata that time comes with HanKook .

  One of the worst brand of tyre i ever used .

  So lousy . . . side hit the road curb and burst .

  Yokohama is the best i ever used from Comfort .

  Engine less noisy .

  TransCab tyres they indent one not so good quality ...

  Michelin , what Perrili , what Bridgestone , what WestLake .... lousy lar , caused the vehicle to be more bumpy .

  My tyres are 16" Ventus Evo 12.

  zhai zhai take corner. Komade is right, rain also very stable .

  Think sonata uses K5 optimo , that one is lorry tyre hehe

  It's the quality i am saying about Hankook tyre ...... those rubber used , not durable .

  Kena nails like nobidy business .

  But yes their tracks very nicely done .
