Last time booking fee high, starting fare low. The trend seems to be going in favour of increasing starting fare, and reducing the booking fee and surcharges. Anyway I find the taxi meter to be too slow. I find it very tiring to earn a living by pressing the meter. Its even more tiring to have a metered fare with an autie pax. Use meter, still must help with their luggage/groceries, follow their directions when you drive, and let them order u around for that $10-$20. A big phui to them.
That is main reason I went with maxi. Flat fare with known destinations. You still meet these type of pax, but at least they are paying a big fare, so it gives u some reason to endure their behaviour.

drive merc like very good leh 3.9... avoid low fare also lull time, still can street pick... fuel drink lesser than sonata somemore... ALN want to drive merc!

Only Comfort , Citycab , Yellow Top .

I heard from an old man ex cabby. He said 10-20 yrs ago, japanese easiest to slaughter. Nihon pax reach destination ask how much. Old man never spoke a word, just pointed to his digital clock just above his meter. Nihon pax ask $200 is it? Uncle just nod. It was 2pm in the afternoon. Took the cash and close shop for the day. Now jepun pax study more so cannot try this pattern liao he said.
