0400 - 0600
zero collection due to own boo boo... spend time in police station making report + travelling to woodlands and back to tpy to solve some silly careless mistake!
(non cab driving related)
0600 - 0700
first pax to tanah merah ferry terminal.. shoot ap... q at t1... check app den realised t3 got many flights landed while next flight at t1 onli 1 flight landing... never mind... break time! talk to two oldies who shared how to "play the ap game" - quote from one of them...
0700 - 1030
ap pax den all the way non stop connection till 1030... wanted break at 0930 but drag till 1030 den can have break.. so sad!

Interesting Observations:
botanic gardens carpark near to nassim road side got 15 mins grace... the toilet veri veri nice and got water cooler can top up water! nice spot for break if near by
onlli 4 days and khoon already begining to drive like a real TD - anyhow cut lane, anyhow stop, never signal etc etc... ha ha... muz be mindful cannot hav all tis bad habits!

khoon maybe will kenan two speeding... pie speed camera.... meter show 90+... sentosa gateway... meter show 70+
one cab reverse about 50 meters to jip pax!
when hotel blink 'taxi'... even if u are the first cab in... the bell hop can choose not to give u the pax...

first pax to pasir ris... rounding no pax... shoot ap t3... reach end of q.. khoon gong gong go follow behind those black black cabs!
kenan air stewardess... make khoon feels like driving airplane!

peak hour never go into town at all... all pax putside cbd...

break time!

slow slow morning... kenan twice pick up to destination back to pick up point...
kenan sentosa inside inside de hotel... drop pax at staff entrance... drive up to lobby look see.. heng heng got one pax... dun need empty out...

since slow morning tot want keep early... but khoon keep challegning himself see can find pax anot... ha ha... end up chiu!

this thread makes me want to relieve my initial driving days, so today sibei koot lak, start driving at 7am... at 8am, very sleepy liao.. bo bian, kopi break... 9.30am break again... body cannot adjust to the timing.... but overall quite okay lah to start early, at least can end early...
but the funny thing is i flip thru' the log book, knn, today is the earliest time i started since day 1.. even day 1 i only start at 7.30... if only everyday can wake up so early...

favorite taxi stand to start the day... zoom ap... taxis on ecp like f1... all no giv chance... chiong all the way...
today learnt leasson liao... reach ap.. go shee shee first... fast moving q... less then 20 mins reach the end of Q liao...

drop off ap... check app.. t1 n t3 flts landed an hr ago... siew liao... plan q t1... turning out time saw sign board t3 onli 2 cabs in q... mai tu liao...
no cabs... but khoon still gong gong follow the merry go round route whlie others juz zoom to the last lane...
end of q... 5 mins wait... sentosa cove... think siao liao... ha ha... but never empty out... pax send stuff and back put to vivo...

actually onli wanted to record the first few days... bo bo write one week liao...
taxi driving is not as tough as i prepared myself for... nor is it as easy as well... a lot of mental stuff on the first few days...
now can understand poolman's approach tat driving taxi muz hav good knowledge of locations, routes and traffic conditions.. hav some strategy... be at the right place at the right time... plus a bit (or lots of) luck...
i m fortunate to link up bro cktan1973 to be his relief... he went all the way out to guide me before i started and on the first few days...
bro jlkl also a very encouraging and motivating chap... really admire him for starting off omo and lasted a whole year and more...

holland almost 45mins... coz pax insist muz follow her iphone app de directions... end up at some dead end roads... one way street... spend time turn here turn there... and traffic like rojak...

Khoon , next time u come across such a pax , dont give chance. tell them either your way or ask the Iphone to send her instead.
45 mins is really a big waste of time. I had this pax whom i picked from shenton way to arcadia.
Collyer quay > Fort Canning > Grange road > Cluny road.
Turning into grange road , this cb kia ask me why dont go straight? why i making a big loop? why his iphone say so straight. i said hello sir , what big loop ? grange road straight is to napier rd . u wanna trust ur iphone tell ur phone to send u there instead.
And use this example to prove to these fellas that GPS is not always right. When u are at Pasir panjang , punch in Yishun , the app will tell u to go by AYE - CTE all the way exit Yishun. Correct ah? go by that way pls prepare your backside to kena butter.

some pax no word say de... yishun to cck... i take mandai ave - mandai rd... all the way till after zoo den up bke... he say y i didn't up sle earlier... he feel tat gg mandia rd like one big loop... i say if up sle - bke... at least 5 - 8 more mins... he say iPhone route should not b wrong... i ask him go home check onemap.com or street directory.com...
