For those who take the sponorship for a diploma in nursing course in
NYP, you will be given a monthly allowance when you are studying and
need to serve 3 years in the hospital after you graduate
Anyone knows how much compensation you have to pay if you decided to break the bond? How is it calculated?
Am thinking of taking the bond but scare halfway don't like than want to break bond don't know how much must pay..
pay back all the allowance money that is already paid to u while schooling... ?
anyway, if u get registered nurse licence, still can go where work?
usually singhealth or national healthcare group...
i think course fees and allowance lo;
if u 1 2 break the bond u have to pay them all the allowance fees they give you+supplementary fees(which I think they pay for u)+10% interest.
so give it a careful consideration.
they don't pay ur course fees, just a allowance.
the amount you pay depends on which yr you decide to break
I.E you break yr 1 = 850x12 + some interest
yr 2 = 850x12+900x12+interest
think carefully before you sign, i myself is a sponcered student, if you got into nursing because no where else wants you, suggest u wait till ur first attachment before you sign anything
i suggest u take when u year 2. best time to take should be year 2 sem 1. anything later abit wasted already. cause the time u need to serve bond still the same (2 years). and i dont think most hospital back pay.
cause year 2 bonded for 2 years. moreover, 1 year for u to try try first.
but if u taking in year 2, ur results need to be abit above average. for easier acceptance.
snk is a nurse? which hospital?
no lah, student at NP Nursing

yeah, Yr 2 is a good time to sign. only TTSH and AH(future KTPH) will back pay you when you sign, NUH i not too sure, all Singhealth cluster's hospital don't backpay.
dont worry la..
u will survive with the $10 per day during attachmentt.
oh well, at least i did.

10dollars barely covers transport and meals lor haha, but oh well, considering the schools pays the hospital to tahan us.
