the syllabus is the same
the topics are the same
the lecturers dont differ by much
how is one school better over the other
unless it gives students some brain enhancement surgery to allow it to store more concepts and knowledge
then of course that school is the numero uno
but if not
then how to gauge
reputation =/= better

NP by a mile..NP Business has MOUs with numerous financial instituitions and MNCs (seldom SMEs)...Best way is you look at the course structure of NP and SP (accountancy course) for example..

u got it.
i think just comparing the 2 hottest courses accountancy for example, and you'll see the truth for yourself. also once again ngee ann polytechnic has the highest number of first choice applicants for the JAE.
correct me if im wrong, but sp internship is only 9 weeks or something during ur term break? ngee ann poly gives you the full 6 months internship, and in accountancy you have a very high chance of entering the big 4 for ur internship.
not so sure bout sp, but do they teach you the software skills required for accountancy, like accpac, myob, excel, access etc?
and it states sp has the most number of module exemptions from cima, however most people in the accounting industry will tell you that they rather do acca which the ngeeann diploma will grant you exemptions from as well as those from cima, etc.

Temasek poly the best. Well known for business courses together wif hot dudes and chicks.
More than an institution

So which poly is better for these courses?
Thanks!
It depends on the students who are taking the courses.
If you cannot be the top student in either of the courses, then it doesn't makes any difference.
Even if you choose to go for ITE courses in business(If there's any), you still might not be able to be the top student there.
So it doesn't really makes a difference, why not pick the one that is closest to where you are living at the moment?

The key word is REPUTATION. Yes the NP business school has a better reputation as they've been around longer. But if you wanna compare the quality of the students, its hard as both schools offer more or less the same things. Yes in NP every student has the opportunity to go overseas, that is if you hav the money to pay for itPM peak alot of people but rarely you will take the train at peak hours. The majority of your classes will finish latest by 5. At that time train still got space to sit, at the front that is
its all the same la.
its not as if jobs will pick NP over NYP. as long as you impresses during your interview, they still choose you

Well, if u do a search, the various poly, tp, np, nyp and sp do not lose out to one another much in terms of MOUs..
Indeed, there is one poly which shine out among the rest and it is np..however, i think they dont really differ by much. Not by MOUs , prospect..etc. Its just about how the school package itself. Some people say SP and NP do not advertise, This is totally absurd and wrong. All school package themselves and SP and NP did it much better. Their websites are vibrant and alluring with the words. NP for eg; hold camps before the jae.
Diploma aint really a big deal these days, your degree will just cover it..unless u plan to stop at a dip. A piece of degree can easily outshine a diploma.
U dont impress the boss with your poly but with ur score..lol.
NP cert with 3.4-3.5 and Tp/SP/NYP cert with 3.9 or 3.8, easily pawnz NP>
If scores around the same, poly wuld be taken into consideration but ur interview skill is the main criteria.
its not the poly
its the student
