For what i know, MLM is a legal business model in singapore however there are quite a handful of people run-away when 'mlm' being mentioned.
I attended quite a number of mlm presentations before and I used to hear those presenters hype about how much they can earn in a month. Mr.so and so earn 5 digit income per month, telling the audience about their success story, owning a bmw at a young age. All the testimonies and advantages they can show, but what about those difficulties/setbacks they didn't or don't prefer to share?
I was in school a few months ago, and there was this person called me and said: "We are a company dealing with biochemical products and services, we are pleased to informed you that you have been shortlisted, and we would like you to come down to our office for interview."
Then when i asked that person, what qualification? and since when I have been shortlisted? (I didn't even apply for a job or send any resume) How did they got my number? Where are they from
They replied "We just did a cold call and we manage to call you up, you don't need any qualification, training will be provided for you, when will you be free? We are from the ve group, bla bla bla"
It sounds fake to me actually.. shortlisted usually comes after a 1st interview and cold call don't.
I have seen some uncles owning a "cha kuey teow" stall, owning a mercedes and living in a terrece house. so both normal job and mlm can be successful isn't it?
I guess one of the reasons many people are afraid of being approached by MLM: have you heard of friends using hard sell methods to pressure their friends to buy from them just to get them climb up to the ladder? Or maybe you have know of friendships broken apart because of mlm?
So which MLM firms are reputable in the public currently?
none of them because MLM doesn't work in Singapore?
