Starting out with a cup of tea...

Hey hey~
Not sure if starting a sgforum on tea for people like me who enjoy a good cup of tea is a great idea, but then, I wouldn't know the extend of the ripple circles if I don't cast the first stone into the water, rite?
It all began on evening while browsing through the display shelves at a local teashop in Chinatown.
A lady approached me and we struck up a conversation - she wanting to know more about tea, I was just glad to be yakking off my head. At some point in the conversation she lamented that whenever she wants to talk about tea with her friends, they look at her funnily, and boy, do I know that feeling...sitting in front of the computer later that night, it struck me to kick-start a forum here for people who are interested in tea, and who would enjoy a place to share thoughts on tea.
There are millions of tea related websites and forums on the net, but I hope this is one which is closer to home, and where, now and then, we can gather and have tea, and put a face to a nickname.

If I go more often to D'Art main store, she apparently goes there very often, and didn't realize that she can ask to drink some tea...

Thanks for dropping by leh. I'll try to come by this weekend on Sunday after 2, might not be able to stay long though, go churchy stuff to do...
I'll bring the Nanjian tuo circa 94 for you to try too! In the mean time I hope to find out more about the history of Nanjian tea factory so I can add more substance to this forum...like a Teapedia...haha~
BTW, these clones are not my friends (yet) leh, duno where they come from one...I hope one day to have enough members here so I can start a proper *home* for tea lovers of Singapore! -

Sorry I had to spit so huriedly, had 2 run off 2 church lah. Thanx 4 sharing the teas, and it is good 2 meet so many new frens and find them liking tea too!
