Dear Japanese forummers
With all due respect , I am not here to be rude to Japanese.
I am an IT practitioner. I see mostly Indian and Chinese and Philipinoes as IT practitioners in Asia. In Europe, the europeans.
America, Americans.
So, why is it that Japanese are very high tech in electronics and cars etc but it APPEARs to me Japanese are not very much into IT except manufacturing products and other things?
So, lets be very clear, I am honestly trying very hard to understand why is the situation like this. Why Japanese are not into IT as much as the rest? IT as in computer systems, computer applications and software. Am not referring to hardware IT.
My company is Japanese MNC. I also feel the HQ Japanese are not very much into IT. Why? Its frustrating not knowing why. Japanese are brilliant people. Why do they choose not to be in IT? too little money to be earned? Too low class?
Please enlighten me.
Thanks.
regards
Suzy
ingorance is bliss?
who produce CNC tho they r not the pioneer
first, japanese are not brilliant . they are cunning. put that in ur mind.
they are not in IT because they will have to pay more labour fee for their locals. so out sourcing is best.
I don't think Japanese are bad in IT, but if you meant that they are not good with programming, then possibly the answer has to do with languages. If you're a programmer, you'll be using languages that are built in English... like Visual Studio or C++, and Japanese tend to speak their language in their country, unlike Singapore or India. I don't think it affects much, possible it has some factors on it.
They can be good at programming but it may take extra effort first to understand the English software and then finally the programming logics.

They just suck at it. But when it comes to the sickest form of porn, look nowhere else.
In Japan, you can live comfortably if you don't have a degree or a diploma or if you work as a chef or a technician, provided that you have a job. The company will pay for your expenses, rent, etc.
