SINGAPORE: The message to go green went into the heartlands on Saturday with SWITCH — short for Simple Ways I Take to Change my Habits.
The event kicked off in Toa Payoh, where over 10,000 residents and family members learnt how to make their daily habits more eco—friendly.
The event also saw the launch of Envirofest 2008 — which focuses on wide—ranging issues affecting the environment.
Joining the residents was the Environment and Water Resources Minister, Associate Professor Dr Yaacob Ibrahim.
