battery indicator

Is there anywhere on DS lite that shows the battery indicator?
How would we know how long more can the battery last without charging? -
When you're on the main screen, look at the top screen. At the top right corner there's this battery icon. That's the indicator.
But I think it doesn't work leh. Mine is forever green. I think that battery indicator is just for display. Can somebody confirm this?
The battery will last 15-19 hours on the lowest settings, and 5-8 hours on the brightest. If you're using R4 or Supercard or M3, the battery usage is more. I think this can be a rough gauge of your battery other than the battery indicator. -
Other than the main screen you won't to see how much battery you have left. The only other indicator would be the light at the top right hand corner. It would turn red once the battery runs low (as I'm guessing you would have known by now).

since then i've been charging whenever i'm free...
do we need to use till the ds is low batt then start charging? will it be better for the battery? -
With the Lithium battery, it is ok to charge it before it goes flat. However, it's still better to only charge it when the light goes red or flat.Originally posted by coolger03:yah... i saw that once... when we just got the ds...
