Protective casings

  When I first bought my DS Lite, I got a polycarbonate shell that came together with the package. Eventually, I bought an external hard casing as well for transporting it around.
  
  
  
  What kind of protective casings do you have for your DS, if any?

  But what if you accidentally drop the DS?
  
  I'm not saying that polycarbonate would be a perfect shock absorber, but it would at least absorb some of the impact.

  I have the plastic casing for my DS lite. I think it makes the DS lite look better. I also have the protective film for the screen.

  I was actually thinking of buying an aluminium casing for my DS lite. It looks really, really cool and sleek.

  i'm using a transparent crystal casing for my ds now and that's the only protection for my ds.
  
  sometimes i'm dump my ds with my other items like keys and stuff in my bag and somehow, sand and dirt gets into the gap between my ds and the crystal casing. and my baby got scratched by the sand bits.
  
  it's better if you get another outer protection to keep it away from your other things in your bag.
  
  and i do have the protective film for both my screens and i've changed the bottom one once already after playing pokemon ranger. trust me, you don't wanna play that game. because after finishing that game, my touchscreen had LOADS of circles of scratches caused by the stylus.

  The polycarbonate case.... came with the DS.
  
  The external hard shell... about $12, I guess. Any good gaming shop sells them.
