Man, that brings back some memories. CC Foo was my form teacher in Sec 2, Tang tried to expel me and I still drop by to say Shalom to Big Mike when I breeze through town.
Say, are either Lim Di Beng or Tan Eng Hong still around? Both had the misfortune of trying to teach me A Maths and I'd be surprised if there was any love lost between mrs Tan and myself. The irony is that my doctoral thesis used a lot of the calculus that both failed to get through my thick skull.
I've heard the Ngs are doing all right these days post-retirement, but what about Wong Fatt How?
Apart from Precious, does anybody remember tan Hock Kee? Sheesh, I still remember the kerfuffle when his wife murdered his mistress. Not one of SJI's finest days. -
