remember that day when i was despo for ideas to paint? here's the end result. did a poem along with it.
The burning sun stands smugly, hiding behind levels of cloud.
Always hiding its full splendour, only parts of it can be seen.
The extraordinary feeling it oozes, it also heals.
Like how you fufill my senses, with your brilliant smile.
It comes and goes, giving way to the night, as if to take a rest.
Once it awakens, it fills the darkness with illuminance.
The unique sights it brings to the eyes, it also soothes.
Like how you caught my eye, with your flawless beauty.

i didn't want to paint somfin related to the human eye. not literally at least. my girlfriend gave me the title to work with. i saw the eye. as a sparkling object. the sun. and it's hard to stare at the beauty of somfin if it's blinding or too bright. so...Originally posted by M©+square:Care to share why is this work titled human eye?

tabloid favourites, people are more interested in their lives than works.
for singapore it depends, the first generation artists are pretty well to do.
second generation onwards quite low profile.
but the current batch of street and graffitti artists are almost like superstars,
from sponsored materials to sponsored clothings and shoes.
