Your color usage of watermark distracts the viewers from looking at your linework.
I don't know if it's only for me, the watermark kept my eyes from your work as a whole. It could also because it's overpowering your work(since the text is huge)
People have the tendency to focus on the watermark text since we look at what we're familiar first.
Hope you'll consider?

Like Ito have mentioned. It is not difficult to take the 'watermark' away.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:I'll seriously consider a better way of protecting my work if I know of one. Creative Commons seems to be applicable only to websites.![]()

If i would make it troublesome for others to copy my works.
1 I'll try drawing on black paper with white grids / the reverse.
2 Or add gridlines(from PS layers) onto your work so that others find it tedious to remove them.
3 Post in considerably small sized images. (post relatively large images of 'area of focus' if needed)
4 watermark need not be huge, to be visible. Watermark can be small so much that it reminds unnoticed. The 'thief' will not know what trouble he's landing himself into.
What are you problems you've faced? If you don't mind, maybe you can share your experience and hopefully, people here can suggest the possiblities you haven't thought of?
Copyright of 'Intellectual Property' most applies to architechtural illustrations and interior design as well as the likes of product design like yours.
nice! manOriginally posted by Kuali Baba:In case you're wondering why I hang out here, though I don't do much photography or any graphic/cartoon drawing, this is what I do:
They're my own designs, and I have several more in my room, which is why I'm so rat-arsed about other people stealing them.
Comments are most welcome. This is the body of a high-performance estate car I'm working on, so it's got all sorts of vents and sculpting, but I integrated the bodykit into a neat package. The high door sills are deliberate.
if only he did. phweee. that would be somfin.Originally posted by silvercap:nice! man
Are u going to do 3D modelling?
Yeah, not having Photoshop program might post a problem.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:I don't have Photoshop.
The fear of getting these things stolen and passed off as someone else's stems from paranoia.I've actually put other small things into it as well to mark it as my own.
All the scoops, slots and vents are part of the design, and not afterthoughts. The door sills are also higher - it's not easy to get into but it's more rigid this way. I plan to do the same for the tailgate.Originally posted by the.owl:thats a nice drawing but...whats so special about your design?
