  How do I create visible watermarks for my drawings using the computer, once I've scanned them into images?
  
  Also, do you guys go to that extent to protect your work?

  well, currently i don't do watermarks yet. mainly cause i don't really know how to yet.
  
  anyway. i do what i do, for leisure. i'm still an amatuer. so... yeah.

  which kind of watermark ? just a very fading signature of yrs ?
  
  juz use PS type a text and reduce the opacity will do ..

  If you want special water marks, go to N-Sane Tutorials.
  
  They have a tutorial to create watermarks that can only be seen when you highlight it.

  Okay...the thing is...I don't have Photoshop.
  
  Can it be done with MS Paint or Photo Editor?

  i guess it'd be close to impossible to produce a good watermark image using ms paint
  
  i'm not sure if you can do something like that on photo editor. you can try though.

  i don't really watermark my images other den putting my screenname on one of the sides of my stuff.
  
  i'll try out what binary suggested. the special watermark.

  Oops...I forgot to give an update. I've since found a way: custom textures on MS Photo Editor. It's visible in my other thread.
