  in singapore.. most middle class, blue collar chinese people follow taoist/budhhist.

  And to generalise that Christians are richer in Singapore of cos have its truth, bcos usually Christians are more english educated.
  
  Taoists and folks practitioners many of them are the older generations, the elders, those who do not have much education.
  
  Buddhists on the other hand, most of them are English educated who seek to learn and practise the dharma. Lots of places teach dharma in English, I would say at least half or more, especially Theravada and Vajrayana but also many Mahayana centers.
  
  Also don't mix taoist and buddhist up, they are totally different.

  Not sure what you're referring to by 10%, but if you mean the Church then I find they're rich enough to accomplish their own ends without needing me to donate to their cause. I still need to save for my further studies too, you know.
