It sure looks like something from alt.erotica to me, but if this is real... there really is no hope for the human race.
Some would argue that it's not possible to corrupt religion. This is if you hold a relativistic 'tolerant' view and feel that all viewpoints are equally valid. You can't say religion is being parodied or corrupted because you have to accept the person's viewpoint is just as valid as yours. Which brings up the problem of "if everyone is his own pope, what good is religion?" There can be no common viewpoint in a practical sense.Originally posted by malayatheist:Man... it must suck to be a moderate Christian these days. I hate to burst your optimistic bubble but there is no hope for the human race.Originally posted by malayatheist:It sure looks like something from alt.erotica to me, but if this is real... there really is no hope for the human race.
Not according to them, they actually do believe that this is how Christianity should be practiced. They'll probably say that you are the diluted Christian. That Christianity is being weakened by spineless moderates. Like Phaze asks, who can say which one of you is right?Originally posted by SingaporeMacross:This is Christianity gone wrong.
Sigh... gonna get me a paddle, and spank my head till it stops hurting.Originally posted by Phaze:I hate to burst your optimistic bubble but there is no hope for the human race.
I saw one a paddle at Watsons for $4.99. Well, it was something that could be repurposed as a paddle.Originally posted by malayatheist:Sigh... gonna get me a paddle, and spank my head till it stops hurting.
Hahah... Do you think it matters what kind of paddle they used? Like wooden ones get you more Jesus points than soft plastic ones.Originally posted by Phaze:I saw one a paddle at Watsons for $4.99. Well, it was something that could be repurposed as a paddle.
I wasn't referring to paddles that they would use. For Christian Domestic Discipline, the bare hand is the preferred spanking tool. This also allows the man to say "it hurts me more than it hurts you.Originally posted by malayatheist:Hahah... Do you think it matters what kind of paddle they used?
