If you define atheism simply as the lack of belief in a god, Buddhists are atheists as well.
Buddhists, however, are dualist and accept that knowledge can be gained by supernatural means.
Most atheists (as we understand the term) are physicalists. We believe that everything that exists has a physical property.
We also more or less define 'natural' as objects or phenomena with physical properties. 'Supernatural' is defined as entities, forces or powers regarded as beyond nature, in that they cannot be explained from the laws of the natural world.
In that respect, yes. Atheists do not believe in supernatural stuff. -
people say there are ghost, but where is the evidence, clear evidence and how is it form.
anything that is said to be true but has no clear presence in reality and no proper explanation and no consistent evidence is supernatural stuff.
if people want supernatural stuff to be recognised by atheist, just give the convincing evidence and its reality then it would not have the lael of supernatural anymore.
for example, people talk about ghost for centuries, but still , it is remained as a vague thing with anedocate evidences.
that is all its has been for entire history of ghost, stories and pseudo evidence that doing things help the person to get rid of the ghost. other than these pattern, there has no been any more progress of what is exactly happening and what can we do about it.
