  OH, btw, BA was charged with a fine of US$300M for price fixing.

  going by this trend, I expect more airlines to be held for "price fixing" By formation of alliance - isn't it a indirect way of cornering market share and deny non-alliance airlines connections?
  
  And the issue of AUSTRALIA persistently blocking SIA right to fly to USA is also another clear indication of anti-competition.

  Hi Red, the price fixing in BA case is not abt alliance but about sneaking in Fuel surcharge, airport tax surcharge as part of saleable price..when fuel prices had dropped. I'm sure the news will give more details than I can write here. They keep repeating the news here on CNN n SKynews. n even FBI got involved.
  Looks like Virgin pull one on them again. The old feud.
