Thai unloads its A345s

  Thai Airways International's commerce department has asked the airline's board to sell its four brand-new A340-500 Airbus passenger jets. THAI vice-president for commerce Wallop Bhukkanasut said the the four-engined jetliners consume a lot of fuel and offer limited seating capacity.

  Probably 772LR , 787-9 or A350-900R (long range) to replace the A345. Other carriers like EK and SQ are unhappy with the aircraft. Basically Airbus's didn't do well for it's A340's sales.

  why say that the A345 dosent do well for SQ?
  
  the only other available choice for ULH routes is the 772LR
  
  And being one of the biggest operaters of the 777, u would think that SQ would switch over to the 772LR.
  
  Maybe they want to keep the pilots current for the A380?
