Hi everyone,
I thought of a thread where it's like a trivia or mini wiki for everyone to contribute some " rare " or inside facts about aviation. Like what does " AVI" . " PER", ICAO, IATA, EASA, JAR, RAD, MAG, MSG or were the WW II fighter planes really made of canvas , does fliight decks really have ash trays ..etc..
Everyone is welcome to contribute , but please keep it factual, tasteful and awe-inspiring. haha..so we can all learn from one another & perhaps dispel certain "myths" about aviation.

jus to share 2 cents..I noe u meant Aviation when u wrote AVI but in aviation terms, AVI means sumthing else..
Hey.Idea .why not start a quiz n see the answers !! before I post the right answer?..

Hahaha..no guys..ok..here goes..
AVI is the acronym for Animals & LiveStock set by IATA. Dogs, cats, horses, Fishes( AVI.F),birds are all labelled AVI n has to conform to a AVA clearance. Also AVI need some TLC from handlers n crew and are usually loaded in the bulkhold of aircraft where there is ventilation & thermostat control to keep them alive.
so there you are!
If this trivia is a welcome idea, maybe we shud have a " hey...I didnt know that !" corner. What says the other MODs n forumers?

Complied facts of A380
1. A380 was known as A3XX at its earlier development, also was nicknamed “Megaliner”
