  haha few more months to go i guess. It's been very enjoyable, though having to skip sch quite often isn't that great.

  You took twin prop or single prop???And one more thing if I touchdown at -100fpm is it considered good???

  Hmm.... I can't really tell you if -100 fpm is a safe sink rate at touchdown, since my eyes are usually not on the vertical speed indicator at that point. I'll usually be looking outside for a proper horizon reference during the landing flare.

  That's an interesting question.
  
  500 fpm is equal to about 5.7 mph (calculated as (500 * 60) / 5280)). That's not very fast (imagine driving a car into a concrete wall at that speed) and I would imagine the landing gear on a modern commercial airliner should be able to withstand that sink rate at touchdown.
