well... I've always wanted an aircraft of my own. Was thinking of getting a license and purchasing one oveseas next time.

A member of our flying club is a part owner of a Mooney 201 that was built in the late 70s. Sharp-looking plane, except for the vertical stabilizer that looks like it was tacked on backwards!

Mooney in the late 70s?For aviation unlike my other intrests cars I always emphasise on safety. I would take a new one unless you tell me that the old Mooney has a rigorous maintenence schedule
