  I had those experiences.! Never regret it!
  Do u know that it is not even fully pressurized,. there is no A/C system in there.most the bleed air are used to heating n pneumatics..
  The crew used electric fans, yes those normal baby prams fans in there n a GARMIN portable GPS bought from SIM LIM SQ.
  Still it flies..but Antonov Acft company,based in Ukraine are keepin with the times up as it needs the certification of EASA to operate into many EU countries. Then they will apply for a BASA ( Bilateral Aicraft Services Agreement) also based on JAR 21 for FAA cerification.
  So u see guys..it is not pilots that flies planes nowadays but rather , papers.lots of paperwork n of course $$$.

  HI all,
  
  This is LCF ONE rolling out frm EGAT.
  LCF 2 will begin flight testing soon & will be flown back to Boeing plant for a New BOEING Livery, so it wont look like this. I guess it will be the Boeing corporate livery.
  
  LCF One has already done few trips between Nagoya and Everett transporting Japanese made parts for the B787.
  By the way Fuji heavy Industries ( who owned Subaru Cars ) n few other big Jap firms, like Kawasaki are partners in this project
  
  & u thought they only made bikes n cars. !

  so unless the tail is fully removable u cant use the entire length to store stuff(cant close)? beluga's mechanism seems better thou it does have a larger cap than beluga..according to wiki haha

  The LCF is designed to carry parts of the 787. And it does its job.
  
  Same for the beluga. so cant really compare eh?
  
  the ultimate warrior for bulk transportation still goes to the antonov. it carries almost anything.

  somehow i think they opted for the swing tail to prevent airbus from suing them ...but yep it gets its job done...maybe airbus is going to come up with something bigger since beluga cant handle A380's wings...

  swing tail design was due to mechanical/engineering restriction of the size of the B787 fuselarge. The reason they hav to make the LCF Dreamlifter was because even the antonov cudnt swallow in the diameter of the b787 fuselarge n of coz,being american & BOEING, they will not wan a " former cold war competitor) to reap the glory.
  It's not realli a matter of AIB suing them because the B747F, Antonov 124/225, C5 are also nose loading.
  Jus FYI, when the door swings open, it has to be supported by the "cherry stand".

  The GE90 line of turbofan engines by General Electric generate in excess of 115,000 lbs. of static thrust. The GE90 is a powerplant option on the Boeing 777.
