U will like the B744...though not FBW like the B777s but simple n basic.

If you want to use a camera, u can forget about apotting from the airport itself.
But if you ever get a chance to go on a holiday.. go the the various smoking areas inside the departure area...
They get u closest to the tarmac action. -
In my opinion, to go planespotting now in Singapore now is along Changi Beach Carpark 4?
That's during the monsoon months.
Non Monsoon months, East coast park at the Jetty, the jetty near NSRCC.
all the past spots... please thank Osama for closing them down. -
if u love lookin at planes... why dont u join aviation and work in the airport on the tarmac instead ? try SIA Engineering COmpany... hahaa.. as an Licensed Aircraft Engineer u get to run the engine up at the Engine Bay in the middle of the runway... and clear the airplanes for flight predeparture on the tarmac itself... (i'm describing my job... haha it's like turning ur hobby into ur daily job!!)
or u can be jus a towing personnel... or become Air Traffic Controller working on the Tower... etc etc am not kidding

btw, I didnt know u can do engine run up in the MIDDLE of the RNWY man?..u ah kah liow wz master apron also dun have so good right?

my type course 747-400 is in february, megatron. im revising for my L11... wish me luck. -
End of RNWY? So much has changed now..during my time, run up only at hangar blast fence ,those 600 series bay..during normal hours. I heard nowadays start up only allowed after a/c is towed at TWY nose out. In e past, We could be cleared n do a start up at bay while pushing out.saves time,fuel n $$$.
Many "bright " pple in the policy rooms now..face buried in books ,they never did a field trip n get real ! sigh....
