If I were to take up the Air Force scholarship, I have to go through BMT this coming january, and it's just too sudden for me to except. Plus, like what gd4u said, I would have to sign my youth away

Lol, that is not is the worst thing. The worst thing, signing on, and failing ur vocations tests, and getting thrown to elsewhere

Let say i have passed all the initial qualification for being a pilot and currently undergoing grading for pilot. ok, then, let say i can't make it from one of the test.
can i quit and couldnt get tangled with any bonding?
or will i be thrown to somewhere else?
mm for female pilot, i heard the bonding is only for 5 years.. am i right here? -

Weapons System Officer (Fighter) as the name suggests.. . means handling the whole firepwoer of the aircraft. Most Figther jets comes in as 2 seater planes. One for pilot (pure controling, manevour the plane), the another for WSO (Fighter) the fire the missiles, bombs, guns on the plane ...
WSO (Air Defense Artillery) takes cares of the ground defense systems. They inculde operating SAMs (Surface to Air Missles) and Anti-Aircraft Guns ...
WSO (C3) [Command, Control, Communications] is one who sits inside the ATC, and gives the aircraft the full surroundings and situation around the plane. In a fighter jet, the aircraft radar can only see what's infront of him. The C3 controller gives the aircraft the rest of the 'picture' . This requires u to be on ur feet all the time.
WSO (UAV) [Unmanned Ariael Vehicle] flies the UAV. U get to see classified Black n White Maps wherever the UAV flies ... That's means, spotting the enemy way b4 they see u, or any ground troops see the enemy.
For UAV personnels, it comes under the Tatical Air Support Command (TASC). The TASC HQ and UAV Sqns are not located in an airbase. I know the place. And I heard complains about the smell of pig farms floating into the camp. SO, if u really wana be in UAV, prepare to bear with the stench ... -

Where you heard from? I have never heard that females only need to have a bond of 5 years with the air force... Don't think so bah... it costs more than a million to train a pilot... 5 years? I saw one Documentary on Discovery Channel...They said those big sized guys are more G-Tolerant...is it True ? -
