  The 'Spruce Goose', or the 'Flying Boat'. Built by aviation genius and eccentric Howard Hughes. Only flown once, by him.
  
  
  
  After pouring $7 million of his own money and another $18 million of government funds into the behemoth, Hughes only succeeded in making a single mile-long flight in 1947.   One of the planes used by the Singapore Youth Flying Club, the Piper Warrior 2. Excuse the bad photoshopping guys, there was a head that was blocking a small part of the plane. And no, it isn't the reason why the pole is slanted in the pic

  SIA did operate the supersonic aircraft together with BA for a while back.
  
  THe other half of the plane is painted in BA's livery..

  The cloud above the wing is actually lift-generated condensation, and happens when humid air in the region of low pressure above the wing is at a low enough temperature for the moisture to condense.
