  probably can ask why our local lads dun show the same commitment as the thai players. when they fail beep test, instead of complaining, although its a crap test to test players stamina and endurance, they should knuckle down and improve their fitness and pass the beep test at the next taking. they should ask, why other players pass, while I fail? maybe I am weak in these areas and should improve them.

   

  it means one thing, our local players are born lucky in singapore, never experienced any hardships at all, unlike the thais.

  I think the only way Singapore can get to the world cup is to host it with some other nations. Joint Malaysia, Singapore world cup maybe?

  How eerie to think that this was the topic that first drew my attention to Sgforums>LOL. Some of the the comments posted here are right.Singapore should  focus and to do well in the Asian Cup before anything else could take off from there.As for Asean Cup? This is a competition that was never taken seriously instead it is for exposure and developement of young and upcoming players.Don't aim so high when there is no bullet,perhaps Singapore has a much better chance in hosting a World Cup Final in the future.

  I am honestly not so sure that so much resources should be spent on soccer....it might be better to spread it evenly across all sports sectors....or am I wrong?
