Ronaldo has trained his sights on securing a recall to the Brazil national side.
The superstar centre-forward ended his stint in Spain at the end of January when striking a deal with Milan.
Milan's decision to hand Ronaldo a lifeline has raised a few eyebrows, but the striker is determined to prove his quality and in turn catch Brazil coach Dunga's eye.
Ronaldo has not featured for Brazil since the World Cup finals, having slipped out of the picture at Real Madrid, but he is looking for a fresh chance with Milan.
"The story isn't over," he told Globo television in an interview. "The story goes on.
"Getting back to the national team is still in my plans and I want to do it on merit.
"Once again, as always in my life, I'm going to bounce back and hopefully score lots of goals."
