Fernando Torres has won a recall to the Spain squad ahead of Wednesday's international friendly against England at Old Trafford.
The Atletico Madrid star was overlooked by Spain coach Luis Aragones for his country's game with Romania in November, following what was a poor start to the campaign by his standards.
He has, though, improved considerably since then as his seven goals have helped move Atletico to fifth in the table.
Raul continues to be exiled to the international wilderness, while Joaquin and Jose Antonio Reyes have also failed to make Aragones' cut.
Aragones has named three Premiership-based players in his squad, with Cesc Fabregas, Pepe Reina and Luis Garcia all included.
Full Squad:
Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Pepe Reina (Liverpool), Antonio Lopez (Atletico Madrid), Pablo Ibanez (Atletico Madrid), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Joan Capdevila (Deportivo Coruna), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Javi Navarro (Sevilla), Angel (Celta Vigo) Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Xavi (Barcelona), Xabi Alonso (Liverpool), Miguel Angel Angulo (Valencia), David Silva (Valencia), David Albelda (Valencia), David Villa (Valencia), Angel Arizmendi (Deportivo Coruna), Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid), Fernando Morientes (Valencia)
