Cristiano Ronaldo's agent has refused to rule out a move to Spain for the Manchester United ace.
Reports emanating from Spain suggest Real Madrid are lining up a move for the flying Portuguese winger.
Manchester United have warned off all suitors of Ronaldo and the player has reportedly been told he should not talk about Real Madrid's interest in him.
However, Ronaldo's representative Sergio Alves insists that a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona cannot be ruled out in the future.
"When Real and Barca are involved the future is always open, not closed," Alves told The Sun.
"Given a little bit of time the situation may change - let's see. There is not much we can do at the moment because United are making their position very clear.
"But you never know in these matters."
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is determined to help United remain on course to win the Premiership.
Ronaldo is expected to return to the starting line-up against Watford on Wednesday after being rested for last weekend's FA Cup clash with Portsmouth and the 21-year-old is raring to go again.
"I want to win this great trophy," said Ronaldo of the Premiership.
"We are on the right course. The team is fantastic and I want to add the league championship to the FA Cup and Carling Cup medals I have won."
Ronaldo has also issued a warning to all his rivals by claiming he is getting even better.
"I think I can still improve," added Ronaldo. "When I came here, I was 18 and I had a good season.
"When I passed 19, then 20, I was better still. I think every season I am improving.
"I am just more mature and more confident. I have learned from the bad moments in my life and this is why I am better now."
