Bolton are looking to beat the transfer deadline to finally seal the capture of Spanish defender Cesar.
Sam Allardyce has been chasing the 29-year-old for well over 12 months but he finally looks set to land his man.
The central defender is currently with Levante, who he signed for in the summer after snubbing a switch to the Reebok Stadium when he left Deportivo La Coruna.
However, the move to Levante has not panned out as Cesar would have hoped and he is now prepared to make the switch to England.
It is believed Bolton could have their man for £1million - should they get the deal done before midnight on Wednesday.
