Petr Cech felt Chelsea produced a thoroughly professional display against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Forest made the trip to Stamford Bridge looking to cause an FA Cup sensation, but early goals from Andrei Shevchenko and Didier Drogba knocked the wind from their sails.
A third from Jon Obi Mikel capped a fine day for Chelsea and Cech was content to be nothing more than a spectator for most of the game.
"I think that we played well," Cech told Sky Sports News. "We kept the ball, we kept passing, we were aggressive and scored nice goals and controlled the game for every single minute.
"I had nothing to do and I am pleased with that. It means that we were well organised and kept talking and we kept another clean sheet."
Cech was given a further boost on Monday, as he was handed a recall to the Czech Republic national side.
He recently returned to the Chelsea team, having fractured his skull in October, and is now in line to face Belgium in a friendly next week.
