Milan playmaker Kaka has spoken of his delight at the prospect of playing alongside Brazil team-mate Ronaldo at the San Siro.
The Rossoneri are still waiting on a medical before a deal for the three-time Fifa World Player of the Year can be tied up.
But with the signing expected to be announced on Monday, 24-year-old Kaka has been unable to hide his excitement about linking up with his international mate.
"When he was number one in the world, I was just starting my career in Brazil," Kaka told the Milan website.
"So for him to come to Milan now to play for us is a dream come true."
Kaka clearly believes the veteran frontman can provide an extra dimension to the team, despite falling out of favour under Fabio Capello at Real Madrid.
"Ronaldo's greatest strength, in my opinion, is his ability to decide a match with one moment of brilliance," Kaka added.
"He can still be decisive without the kinds of runs he used to make.
"He has chosen Milan ahead of another, much higher offer. That means he still feels he has a lot to give in a league that really counts."
Should the medical all go through as expected Ronaldo could make his debut for his new club against Ascoli away on Sunday 4th February.
